Look up into the wheel tub and you can see that there is a strip of metal being welded into the gap made by the mini tub cut out. Dave's gotta be careful with the welding so that he doesn't 'blow' holes through the wheel tub. Dave will actually spot weld the new strip into place and then strip weld at different sites so that the tub doesn't get too hot in one spot and buckle and twist. . .
