EH Wagon . . .

Dave has this inner tub sitting in place ready for welding. You can see from the gap that is left as to how much metal is going to have to be added to make the tub whole again. This small strip is why the finshed product is called a 'mini-tub'. . .
Dave hard at work over on the driver's side. The inner tub is welded back in place as well as the metal trim that goes around the edges of the whell tub. . .
Closer look at the metal dress ring that surrounds and supports the wheel arch, covering up the messy join and adding strength to the area. . . .
Mini tub in place just waiting on the middle strip being welded in. After welding the strip will be ground down for a smooth join and sprayed with body sealer deadener and no-one will know that the modification will have taken place. The tape doesn't lie is an old saying and apart from being a shit-house picture, the actual measurement is around 280mm, so should be no problems fitting in the 275 drag radial if needed for a bit of track time. . .
