Big Johnny, shed foreman and apprentice tamer, yes I meant tamer, he actually throws chairs at them and uses whips to get his opinion across.
Today he grabbed Dylan and asked him politely, while pointing a piece of pipe at him, if he could fit a handbrake to his trike? Yep you heard it here first folks, Johnny reckons that hanging mono's on trikes is for outlaw pipsqueaks and he wants to start doing hand-brake turns in the Coles New World car-park just to scare the shit out of the local Parking Inspectors. So if you see a mad-man, wearing a Bunnings cap, doing donuts in the supermarket carpark don't worry it's just Johnny doing his civic duty and keeping them Parking bastards away from your car. . .

HJ Prem . . .
Just thought that I would sneak this one in quietly so that I wouldn't get me arse kicked. Dylan has finished spraying the boot and fitted up the fuel cell and we've been sneaking down the back and started fitting the fuel lines. When we get a chance we're gonna measure up some carpet and throw it in there to pretty things up a bit. Fuel cell is top of the range, filled with foam, fancy as a Mexican table cloth, hey?

'55 Mercury . . .
Rear end is complete and the boys lifted the body back in place today. Rear end is worth just dropping in for a look without worrying about the rest of the car. This is going to be one helluva show-stopper when complete. . .
Hot Rod Show- Chopped, this weekend.
The team has been getting this rod ready for this weekend's trip to Newstead. The owner wanted the old three carby intake removed for a smoother running and more friendly Holley four barrel. . .
Four barrel looks good and the rod is running far better than when the three Strombergs were sitting up top. . .
Gary giving his ride the final look-over before filling her up with juice ready for the weekend.
For those who don't know Gary, his shed is right next door and he is a local icon, rod collector and billionaire all rolled into one. He's been collecting and building cars long before the things were even invented and carries a vast knowledge of what's needed to create the right look, except for clothes. . . hahaha

'55 Mercury . . .
It makes you sit back and take note when you see the quality of work involved in the re-creation of this '55 Mercury. It's no good buying the best parts from the 'States' and beating your drum as to how good your car is unless you can get the necessary work required to fit such parts fitted so they look like they were part of the original design. THAT is the ultimate compliment. . .
Looking at the quality of work done here by Andrew is basically beyond anything that could have been even thought about back when the design engineers were thinking about the cars of the future. This car is going to be putting out huge horse power and Andrew has thought hard and long as to what is required to not only control that horsepower but also use it to its total benefit of power to the ground and not wheel spin. . .
This is a fairly solid addition to the rear end but it has to not only handle the coil-over shock assemblies but also a massive set of Air-ride air bags. . .

Company's Executive Ute . . .
Hodgey had a casual look around the shed and it just so happened that he had the perfect set of rims and white-wall tyres sitting in a stack in the back corner. Just goes to show if you keep some shit long enough it will eventually (60years) come back into fashion . . .
Fair bit going on here folks. Steering rack has been moved from in front of cross member to behind and is sourced from a Ford Fiesta from memory. Due to power increase, four cyclinder diesel into 351 Cleveland, Hodgey has added extra bracing to the front cross member. Cleveland has also been moved back a fair bit and new extensions have been added to the chassis for the '42 cabin and radiator supports . . .

Johnny's Trike . . .
What can you say? Johnny's trike is in pieces again! Not to blame Johnny this time folks but the diff has had an oil leak all along and Andrew thought that while the trike was in 'bondage' due to its owner being a naughty boy, it was a good time to pull it down and fix the leak. Poor old Dylan ended up with the unenviable task of operating on the trike with the Naughty Boy constantly looking over his shoulder and asking "Are you finished yet?" Typical of a naughty boy. . .
