Gary's Coupe . . .


Gary's Coupe is back from the upholsterers and now is finally finished . . .

Remember when we first saw this rod Hodgey had the unenvial job of cutting out the old doors that had been welded shut and painted over by the previous owner . . .

Doesn't matter which angle you look at her from, she is a very special ride. Please don't pic on the color  quality of the pics, as you can see the car was indoors due to the weather and I ended up with a combination of lighting that would give a nun the shits. Try combining huge tungsten ceiling lamps with natural light and then throw in very bright skylights and you end up with a very unusual 'soup' . . .

The new upholstery is all done in a very nice black. Nothing fancy or overstated, just a high quality, understated look for a comfy ride . . .

Again the lighting, geez, bloody bright orange and full on black photographed in the shadows, need my head seen to trying to take photographs under these conditions . . .
