'27 Willys . . .
This is the front LHS cowling panel, or what's left of it . . .
'D' has cut out replacement pieces and tack welded them in place before a final stitch weld and then a light finish grind. Too much heat on these panels and you will never get the buckles out. The steel will end up like ripples on a pond, so you have to go slowly and tread lightly with the heat . . .
'D' is now facing the same problems down the back on the 1/4 panels, although these panels are that flimsy they are already buckled to the shithouse. You can see the bends and waves in the pics. . .
Filling all the holes in the firewall so that the boys have a clean slate for the transition to V8 and then the auto tunnel also has to be cut out . . .
How's this for a new rear end? It came with nothing but a huge gaping hole. Andrew and 'D' have put in the hard yards and rolled a new arse end before adding a new boot lid, all hand made without any templates to follow. . .
