HJ Prem . . .

 Have a look at the thickness of this cable. It's 1cm thick and is the battery cable that runs from the boot all the way to the starter motor. Heavy cable is used so that there is no voltage drop to make sure the big compression motor kicks over without any hickups. I'm pretty sure that cable thinner than this stuff is used by the Malaysians to tie up their bloody elephants?
Still looking like a bloody big mess but still moving in the right direction. . .
