Quite often a person will walk through the front door with a dismantled frame and a box of nuts and bolts and then proceed to ask that their project be completed, as was the case with this Harley. The owner wanted the original bike slimmed down and made into a 'sporter'. . .
The boys set about trimming it down and replaced the big tank and seats with the smaller 'Sporter' gear and custom made most of the other stuff you see hear including the exhaust pipes and seat. . .
Mark II is nearly ready for the big 'start-up'. Mark I is dead and buried in the junk pile out the back. Hodgey and the crew are again fighting new deadlines to get the 'Gasser' ready for Queenscliff this time. . .
