Gary's Coupe . . .

It's been a while since we've seen anything from Gary's Coupe but rest assured folks word has it that the Coupe has recently finished its trip to the upholsterer so it shouldn't be long before it's back for its final fitout, pics will follow. These are the side steps or running boards whichever you like, and the boys have just finished a non-slip finish in matt black and they are now ready to fit. . .

Pedders and Bruce's HJ Premier . . .

This is the new 'Red Spring Idler Arm' from Pedders to bolster the steering system on my HJ. While we're on the subject of Pedders, I thought that I should acknowledge all the advice and assistance that I have been given by Pedders in Ballarat and especially Tim the manager. Now if you think that I'm chasing freebies you're wrong, dead wrong. Everything that I have has been paid for, but it is the after sales assistance that I'm crowing about. Since I've started setting up the suspension, ride height, etc., on my car, I have changed out 5 sets of springs and 3 sets of shockers to get the right look and feel that I'm looking for. Take it from me, I'm a fussy bastard but everytime I go back to Tim, he says that it's no problem and after checking my requirements on the computer he just changes over the springs and shockers hoping to get the right system for my project. Now that's what I call service without any hassles. If you are looking for quality components and terrific service you can't go past Pedders and in particular, Tim at Ballarat Pedders.  PH. 53355133. . . and NO BULL !!!

Danny and Chris' F100 . . .

Hodgey is trying to get the finishing touches done on danny's rig but today being Mad Monday the phone doesn't stop ringing and people drop in for a chat.  Anyway, this is the driver's side door and as you can see the power windows mechanism is in place and the special locking system is now in position also. Why is it special? Because the are new 'burst proof' locks.

Social day Friday . . .

It was such a lovely day on Friday in Ballarat that Hodgey decided that it might be good for a couple of the girls to get out side for a chat and a bit of social sunbaking. Lucky girls!!

'27 Willy's Salt Racer . . .

Time for 'Salty' to come off her jig and move to her next appointment on the four post hoist for a bit more fabrication work . . .

Salty now in place, high up on racks as well as the four poster. She needs to be way up high so that 'D' can poke is head up under her skirts and finish of her side skirts and all of the underneath mechanical work that is still outstanding . . .

Danny and Chris' F100 . . .

Danny's F100 is getting back together for the trip to Melbourne. When you've pulled them totally to pieces and 'carefully' stacked all the boxes away, carefully labelled with job name and parts of course, it takes time to get them all back out and sorted so the job can go back together like a big meccano set. This one is due for transport to Melbourne on Monday . . .
