Ranchero . . .

Poor old Dylan, having to strip out all the rusty old metal from the chassis rails on this Ranchero would drive anyone nuts. But give him his dues, he just sticks his head in there and starts chiselling away at all the rusty shit and the results are looking fantastic at the moment. . .

Joe's '55 Mercury . . .

The rear end of the big Merc all set up once again. It's hard to imagine how much pressure those air bags take and deliver such a smooth ride. This is one classy rear end and will look fabulous once the car gets to the paint stage. . .

Same thing with the front end, beautiful workmanship and will look great with a cover of paint. . .

Arthur's got an air leak, and it's not flatulence . . .

Arties cool looking '53 Chev with its bum scraping on the ground. Seems like it's still ok after seven years to ring up the fabricator/installer that your air-ride system wont work. This wasn't a two o'clock in the afternoon either. . .

Offending Air-Ride system sitting in the boot and it still looks great after seven years of use. . .

Just a quick snap that I had to throw in, this would be one of my favorite old time grills of all times. The work, considering the year, is magnificent. . .

This is an old, very old, picture of Artie when he use to strut his stuff on the dance floors. I think that they have a size limit for the competitions these days?

Ice. . .Ice. . .Baby. . .

I'd like to thank all of you lovely folk who took the time to ring Hodgey and tell him to get off his big arse and fix up Bruce's Ice electronics. Firstly let me explain about the delegation of authority, what does that mean? It means that he stayed seated on his big arse and made Dylan do the hard work. Thanks 'D' you're a legend mate, now all we need is a few more phone calls to get the bloody system welded up under the dash so we can keep working. . . .

Hard Learning Curve . . .

Things are pretty simple in this shed, you get things explained to you once and from then on the information is punched into you; kinda like a computer . . .

Look who snuk into town. . .

A little bird, actually about the size of two scrappy old emus, told me on Sunday that this hot looking Tudor has taken up residence down near the Peppinella Motel. Keep an eye out for it folks coz it's one crazy ride, Andrew's done it again. . .

650 Yami . . .

This pic shows the new exhaust with its heat wrap, hand made saddle that has been uphostered by Griff from Griff's Upholstery and the new short rear uard with its new tail light assembly. . .
Wide angle view of the finished bike and BTW it sounds cool as!

Today's report . . .

If you idiots think that I'm going outside in the frigging heat, well all I can say is you've got ya bloody hats on backwards! I walked out to get the letters from the postie and the poor bastard's balls had melted into his seat. . . If you want pictures then go and get'em yourself. I ain't moving again until the temp is back down. As for you morons who say that you love the hot weather, well all that I can say for you lot is you've got ya hats on backwards. . .

HJ Prem . . .

Go Brucey go, you good thing. This is the next big project that's holding up the build on the HJ. I need everyone to ring Andrew tomorrow and remind him that he needs to get stuck into the ICE system for Bruce's HJ so that we can get a good start on the wiring loom.
As you can see, it doesn't matter what the weather gods throw at Brucey Boy, he still delivers! Rear venetian sandblasted and etch primed all ready to be finish coated tomorrow while Andrew makes a start on the ICE system.
Don't forget folks we need you to ring in and register your vote for the ICE system works. . .

Bloody Weather . . .

Another day with the temp running above the forty degree mark and it makes t bloody impossible to concentrate on the finer details of the job at hand. Can you imagine standing around in 40degree heat wearing protective overalls and bloody great steel capped boots? All well and good or the safety aspects but not really friendly when you have to fire up the oxy and add a couple of thousand degrees to the steel that you're working on. . .

HJ Prem . . .

The excitement machine is gradually taking place. After mounting the radiator onto the support assembly and then custom fitting a set of Ford AU therm fans to the assembly I was then able to mount the radiator front panel in place. . .
As can be seen from the pic, the gap between the electric water pump and the thermo fan set up is a bit too close for comfort and a bit of grinding will be needed to gain some clearance.
All I need now is for the ICE electronics to be mounted up under the dash and then I can start running the new wiring loom through the vehicle ready for installation. ..

2009 Indcon Roadster . . .

Individually constructed vehicle, this one has been fully kitted out with the running gear of a Ford XR8.

Fully kitted out with the new 260kw motor. . .

Yami 650 'Star'. . .

This is the bike that Dylan is working on at the moment. It's another Yami 650 being converted into a Bobber style from the golden years of bike modification.
As you can see, Dylan has hand made a new seat and bracketry as well as shortening and fitting a new rear mud-guard. Once these mods are finalised, Dylan will move over to the other side and make up a new exhaust system comprising two into one pipes and finished off with the classis titanium heat wrap. . .

'55 Mercury . . .

As you can see from this pic, Andrew has blended the driver's side (LHS) front end into the chassis rails. If you want a little insight into this work, it was 47'C inside the shed today and I said to Andrew that it's not healthy to be working in that heat and he should close the doors for the afternoon. The reply was simple, "My customers don't pay me to close the doors and the work has to be done. . . " Needless to say that his two lovely daughters had to wait until Dad finished work before they were allowed to play with him in the pool today. . .

Update on Johnny . . .

Well folks here he is, straight back from surgery and with a big smile on his face. Over the next few days the doc's will be giving Johnny a proper tuning via lap-top and then he will be back out on his trike. . .

For anyone who is wanting to send any get well wishes to the big fella, please use his new address as seen here. . .

Friday too far away . . .

Just a heads up for all of you tomorrow. As you know, Johnny's been in Melbourne for some 'Deep Brain Therapy' and we are all taking the day off to go down and see how he is. We will relay your best wishes and request that you respect the Family's privacy and leave your phones in your bloody pockets. No calls will be answered tomorrow, with due respect. . .

'55 Mercury . . .

This is the big dollar front end as supplied by Rocket Industries, quality is as you would expect. . .
Hodgey has been given the job to morph the new front end into the original chassis. Although this is supposed to be a 'bolt-in' as supplied unit, you can see that the supplied equipment is far from bolt-in . . .
Now I don't care who you are, but these results absolutely impress the shit out of me. To take the previous two pics and turn them into a finish like this is craftsmanship of the highest order. For those of you who look at this and say "meh, anyone can do that.", well here's your chance put up or shut the fuck up, this work stands alone in quality. . .
The big fella busy at work starting on the blending of the two rails on the driver's side. . .

Hogg Season at the Pig Pen . . .

Hogg Season has arrived at the Pig Pen and all the 'Nikey Bikies' have dusted off their leathe vests and are cruising in the sun. . .
Yep, here's another one, bloody things are breeding like rabbits, although they are easier to get rid of than rabbits; you just need it to rain!
Dylan working on another Bobber look-a-like.
These Yami's have an uncanny ability to shed a couple of their add-ons and then screw a cople of the old Hogg parts and these things look incredible. . .

A Model visitor . . .

The Beverly Hillbillies have hit town for their 'grits'. . .
Classic old A Model in marvellous condition and still running the old 4cylinder donk. . .
